Cerebral Palsy Alliance has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join a passionate and innovative team of Disability Support Practitioners who support the development and implementation of evidence based services for people with disabilities. Cerebral Palsy Alliance currently provides services and support types to meet the needs of adults and children with disabilities, in a range of settings in a holistic and integrated manner.
The role of the Registered Nurse will be to help support staff and clients of Cerebral Palsy Alliance in achieving great health outcomes. You will do this by adhering to Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia’s Registered Nurse Standards for Practice and Code of Conduct for Nurses using evidence based practice.
Your skills and knowledge in nursing and health will support our clients in developing individualised health care plans and support staff with the training they need to support our clients. You will be, working alongside Disability Support Practitioners in brand new state of the art homes to provide safe and effective healthcare to our clients with a range of complex clinical needs.
This role will be based in the Hunter Region, supporting our clients who live in the Hunter and Central Coast areas. There will be some travel required to Sydney.

What will you bring to the role?
Relevant degree or equivalent with five or more years’ nursing clinical experience
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Commitment to using evidence based practice
Expertise in negotiation and conflict resolution
An excellent understanding of the rights of people with a disability
A commitment to making a difference in individuals’ lives
You will be a great team player.
Current driver’s licence
Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain upon joining
