The opportunity:

As the Food & Beverage Supervisor of Spicers Guest House, you will be a hands-on leader who delights in providing guests with bespoke experiences. Engaging and driving your team to ensure seamless operations will be integral to delivering an exceptional guest experience – each and every time.  A new and exciting opportunity to help get this new property off the ground and launch your team and Guest House towards success.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager of Spicers Guest House, you will be responsible for assisting with leading a passionate and highly skilled team to bring the food and beverage experience to life, across multiple stunning indoor and outdoor spaces.

To be considered for this role, you will also have:

Solid knowledge of fine food and wine coupled with a flair for providing exceptional customer service;
Versatility and the ability to go above and beyond regardless of the task required;
A high level of initiative and be able to think quickly on your feet whilst remaining focused on delivering a superb customer experience;
Experience overseeing functions and events will be highly advantageous;
Immaculate presentation standards;
Commitment to providing 5 star service;
Good business acumen, including rostering and stocktaking;
Team management experience – the ability to drive and manage performance;
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written;
A proactive approach and positive attitude;
Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required;
A current RSA;

While the upgrade will reflect a fresh contemporary facelift, the comfortable and welcoming spirit of the original Guest House will be preserved.
