The Cleaner works independently and in a team environment and is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the camp facilities. This role involves cleaning, sanitising, and ensuring all areas are tidy and safe for use. Additionally, the Cleaner undertakes deep cleaning of rooms during unoccupied times. This role must hold and keep a current NSW WWCC and a high awareness of our Child Safe Policy as the Cleaner will be working alone within student and teacher accommodation and amenity blocks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of camp facilities.
– Provide excellent customer service and relationship management.
– Collaborate professionally with team members and manage time effectively.
– Adaptable and willing to assist in all areas to ensure the camp functions smoothly.
– Support operational needs and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety requirements.
– Ensure all cleaning activities are conducted in line with company SOPs and training.
– Service and make beds as required to fulfil client needs.
– Provide support and additional help to other team members as required and other duties as directed by the site manager.
– Lead, mentor, and act in line with company culture and values.
– Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments.

COMPLIANCE AND OTHER REQUIRMENTS
– Hold and keep current NSW WWCC
– Successfully complete internal training.
– Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or hold a valid work visa in Australia.
– Comfortability with working hours which may include occasional tasks outside normal working hours
– Become familiarised with all Company policies and procedures
– Be open to receiving feedback as well as confidence to suggest improvements
– Must act in a manner consistent with company culture and values.
